Rhinog Fach and Cwm Hosan

The Rhinogydd sit east of Harlech in a part of Snowdonia that many have not heard of. They are among the oldest mountains in Wales — formed from sediment on an ancient seabed five hundred million years ago, compressed and uplifted over successive geological events giving this range its distinctive, terraced character.
